I love to create. And create. And create. After friends encouraged my to sell some of my work. I decided that Etsy would be the right vehicle for what I do. Every piece is unique and made with joy. I find art to be good therapy after a long day teaching. I love watching people enjoy my art, whether is it jewelry, upcycled apparel, photography, or digital art. I love it all.
I have a basement studio where I keep my supplies, but I find much of my creative time is spent working on projects while sitting with my family. No matter where I am my Italian Greyhound, Puccini, is nearby.
I love texture, so most of my work is made to be touched or worn. I've been published in a number of rubber stamping magazines and one of my necklaces is featured in the book *Jewelry Beyond Time* by Cynthia Powell, Stephanie Chavez, and Sherre Hulbert
When I'm not creating something, I teach. I also run marathons and half marathons. I sing with the local symphony chorus. I've begun work on a Master of Arts in Teaching. I also take care of two little girls once a week. I've been happily married since 1987 and we have three daughters, ages 23-17.
